Rhael was born as the daughter of the Chief of the city, Rhett Sisterspark, and his wife, Thyra Upford. Inherited her mother's talent in healing, and was sent to the temple of secrets at the age of three, and spent the next ten years by training her skills.

At the age of 13 after finishing her studies as a healer, instead of becoming a priestess, she moved home to her family.
She met a boy named Sapphire Springleaf, and fell in love with the young boy. Since Sapphire's father was an aristocrat from Crystal-Blossom, and his mother was a priestess, Rhett agreed to arrange a marriage between the kids by the time Alana turned 16 and Sapphire 17.

However  after the sudden disappearance of Alana, the wedding had been canceled.
