Reba was born in Sand-Blossom, as the daughter of a merchant, who left her in Phantom's Grace on his way through the lands of Lava-Blossom. Since she had no talent with magic, a sisterhood took her in that trained dancers and and acrobats. At the age of 12, she left the sisterhood, and became a thief, and then joined a group of bandits.

When she was 13, the group brought back a boy to the camp where they lived, and they said he was the son of Eben and Melba, two members.

The boy killed most of the bandits, including his parents, but spared Reba's life. Since she had no family, she begged him to take her with him, but he left her behind all the same. 

After the Aldebaran (the son of Eben and Melba) left, Reba went to a brotherhood, and begged them to take her in, and train her to be a part of their sect. The brotherhood trained hit men mainly, but they only took in boys, so they sent her away to the sisterhood that worked with them, basically the women wing of Sect of Blood. 

After six years of training, she left the sisterhood, and began to travel Eirian by herself, taking jobs if she could, restlessly searching for a place to stay.
